headin' south!

we skipped flo-rida last year, but mom and i have decided to head south again! we leave tomorrow, and will be staying in a different condo unit in the same complex we always visit.

i'm super-psyched for this holiday – it's been two years since i took a proper, completely-off-the-grid vacation. as you know, it's been an especially stressful year or so due to work, and all the cortisol has done a number on my body and hormones.

things are finally starting to calm down, but a week of beach walks and U.S. chain restaurants and shopping and american cable TV will be divine. and, hopefully, restorative.
