yep, my friends are writers, too...

my friend chantel is now a published author. starting in may, her book, Stuck in Downward Dog, will arrive in stores across north america (including amazon.com/borders, amazon.ca, indigo and barnes & noble).

i'm not surprised. chantel, who's always reminded me of Weekend Today co-host campbell brown, is a great writer, a fancy-pants go-getter (she runs a whole magazine!) and a kindred spirit who spent many an afternoon emailing back and forth with me about all things trivial. and now she's an author. very cool.
