insomnia
so, it's 12:48am and i can't sleep.
okay, that's not entirely true because i haven't actually climbed into bed to attempt to sleep. but i know that i'm wired and won't sleep if i *do* climb into bed, so i'm trying to figure out a way to unwind and get drowsy. clearly, blog posting and facebooking ain't cuttin' it ce soir.

.....dammit, all that tapping woke me up!
See.......your *habit* has started to affect your life and those who love you ALREADY!
(of course, i'm SURE you are fast asleep right now!)
LOL.
yes, no more computer time right before bed. i missed my nightly "bedtime story with jimmy kimmel" (aka: the monologue), and i think that seriously threw off my sleep game. ;-)
and, oh look, it's 7:58am and i'm already wide awake again. dammit!
as an aside:
i've just discovered, for real, that there actually DOES exist a 12-step group for logging off facebook!!
know where i found it?
ON facebook.
A sign of addiction is the tendency to massage the truth, as in claiming to be fbing in an effort to induce sleep. We're on to you, Val.
Let's just refer to it as facehook, shall we?
LOL! What a mental picture that is.
moob. punny. ;-)
though i *do* like the ring of "facehook." let's go with it.
Aww, and it was a good Jimmy Kimmel monologue too. I always tune on Friday to get the Week In Unnecessary Censorship. To me, the best bits are when they bleep children's shows, and Friday a little blue-green Muppet on Sesame Street was sort of lunging and throwing itself at the sky as it stood next to Maria.
"What are you doing?" Maria asked.
"I'm trying to F*@#," said the Muppet, "but it isn't working!"
I almost died.
i ♥ "this week in unnecessary censorship." :-)
