better late than never...but still not so good...

finally, after many many weeks, i watched Mister Foe. you'll recall that a copy magically arrived on my doorstep after i posted this. life and film festivalling got in the way, but last night i finally sat down and watched it.

and didn't enjoy it.

i'd been warned by the DVD's benefactor that the movie was "dark" and "twisted," and it was and that's fine by me. but it made absolutely no sense. i had no idea what the hell i was watching or what, exactly, the story was trying to be. it was all kind of a big, muddled mess...which was disappointing, given the actors involved. alas.
