it's pancake tuesday...
today is shrove tuesday. also known as "fat tuesday." also known by many as "pancake tuesday." why?
because, in many places, one consumes copious amounts of pancakes on the day before ash wednesday.
so, i went out for a pancake dinner tonight.
and ate about a half-dozen forkfuls too many of pancakes.
so now i have a pancake hangover.

no. pepto bismol took care of those.
I hope there were also equal amounts of butter and maple syrup.
i do not put butter on my pancakes.
but yes, there was syrup. and two fruit purées that they were trying to pass off as fruit "syrups."
