to "L" in a handbasket

i just finished watching the series finale of The L Word.

it was terrible.

truly truly crappy.

it BLLLLLLLEW.

beyond bad.

the show's entire sixth season has been a complete mess from the get-go, but its last hour was mind-blowingly awful.

in fact... it was, quite possibly, the worst hour of TV i've ever watched. and i have watched MANY hours of TV.

the producers knew the series was ending, and had time to develop the last eight episodes carefully and thoughtfully with well-constructed storylines and scripts... but no. instead, a season full of absolutely nothing, characters who became strangers to their audience, and an entire series tossed onto the dung pile without an ounce of resolution, closure or sense in the end.

what a massive, massive waste.
