puny pre-weekend preamble
trix and i will be off to america at the ass-crack of dawn tomorrow.
the olympics have officially started, and i am delighted.
and, to tie the two thoughts together, the most profound thing i heard about life in a very long time came during the opening ceremonies, spoken by poet shane koyczan (who will no doubt be a superstar by tomorrow morning):
"don't let your luggage define your travels."
