stuff about me
i write for a living, hence the name of the blog. i'm a freelance lifestyle and entertainment writer, and you can find me in assorted print and online publications. one day, hopefully some day soon, i'll be a produced screenwriter. my mother still clings to the hope that i'll develop a sudden interest in medicine or law and get a Real Job™ that doesn't allow one to perform one's duties in pyjamas, but i'd rather write about movies and television and get paid for that. i love cake. i think squirrels are endlessly entertaining. i'm hopelessly addicted to film festivalling and spend far too much time dissecting same. i have a fear of gnomes, leprechauns and porcelain dolls that come to life at night and kill you in your sleep.

Those are edible?
They look positively metallic.
they're actually waxy white-chocolate shells, which accounts for their shine. if you look at the green and blue ones, you can see the chocolate underneath peeking through.
inside is a dark chocolate ganache mixed with a fruit purée.
They SOUND good. Do you find that you let them melt in your mouth, or do you bite into them?
I looked them up and see they can be ordered.
What you are calling the blue ones are steely gray on my screen.

lou, i bite into them. i actually try to "saw" them with my teeth to get a perfect cut. then i enjoy the ganache-y center. they're mostly good, but not worth $8, IMO. maybe $5.
and you're right. the "blue" ones do look grey in the photo. they're a very pale, grey-ish blue, so that's probably why. that, and the dim light.
moob,i *wish* i could get fruity chocolate in that size. i suppose terry's chocolate oranges (which i LURVE) are pretty close. :-D
