RIP powerbook G4
much to my profound dismay and without any warning, my laptop died last night. it cannot be revived. even the apple experts pronounced it unsave-able.
i will be using my old ibook until i get a replacement. but, with me starting my new job on monday and hotdocs starting next week, i don't have time to set-up a new computer, install all my software, re-find the drivers and get myself sorted.
so, for the next few weeks, i'll be livin' like it's 2005. at least online, anyway.

They do seem to die without even a warning cough. Hope the library personnel are nice!

this ibook, while decent, is just too slow to manage most of my online needs. it only has a 10G hard drive!
good news, though: thanks to the generosity of friends, i should be back up and running (on a mac loaner) by the weekend.
