birthday road trip: food diary

the amaretto tiramisu. SO DELICIOUS.

when YB and i travel to the states, eating at our favourite chains is usually at or near the top of our to-do list (often, this involves a fair amount of junk food), and the road trip we took this past weekend was no exception. here, then, is a sampling of what i had and where:

* two krispy kreme donuts
* one humungous auntie anne's pretzel
* one mint-chocolate-chip milkshake at DQ
* one mint condition cooler at caribou coffee
* the tomato-basil spaghettini at CPK
* the capellini pomodoro at the olive garden
* an art vandalay burrito at moe's
* a hot dog and fries at ted's
* a half-sandwich (bacon turkey bravo™) + salad at panera
* four designer shortbread cookies (pistachio, orange-almond, lemon-rosemary and white-chocolate/raspberry) from whole foods
* two frozen strawberry lemonades and one caramel frappé from mcdonald's
* one insanely delicious mini amaretto tiramisu (the olive garden) that i will dream of until our next journey across the border. *sigh*
