cleveland rocks! (one hopes, anyway)

tomorrow morning, at the crack of pre-dawn and likely blanketed with heavy fog (dammit!), young beatrix and i will head out for cleveland. we are armed with shopping lists and high hopes for three days in the States (we're back on sunday)...plus, for the first time on one of our mini road trips, my camera AND my laptop! this, of course, means heaps of useless, frivolous photos will be taken -- eating at CPK! pit stops at the rest areas! FOG! -- and then posted here, so that you might enjoy the splendor (?) of new york state, pennsylvania and ohio.

i can practically feel your excitement right through the computer screen. "CLEVELAND?!?! did she just say CLEVELAND?!?!? OMG!! that is my dream vacation! i cannot WAIT to see what vickie shows us!"

in other news, i bought sara bareilles' CD earlier this week and have been physically unable to stop listening to it. start to finish, a fantastic CD. below is my favourite track on the album...which i subsequently learned was featured in the craaaaptastic dud Loving Annabelle. i still love it, though. the song, not the movie...which BLEW HARD.
